The beef pie and mash with roasted vegetables was outstanding, and my husband really enjoyed his lamb shank. The meals were beautifully presented and very filling. We'd driven past the Engine Inn plenty of times before finally visiting, and were met by a warm welcome in a lovely setting. Everyone there made us feel welcome. Thanks for such a lovely experience, we'll be back.

We arrived for lunch on a rainy day and had three cheeseburgers with fries and a fish burger. We all left full and satisfied. The food was great quality, the staff were helpful, and the location is lovely. The Engine Inn was warm and welcoming, and once the log fire was lit it felt so cozy. We'll be back. What more do you need?

We stayed in our camper van and were welcomed so warmly by the staff and local patrons. Sitting by the beautiful fire was lovely, and everyone spoiled our little dog Harvey. This pub is such a charming hidden gem, and the whole visit was amazing. If you're in the area, go and experience the hospitality for yourself.

A last-minute lunch stop between family visits in Cornwall turned out to be just right. The vegetarians in our family were happy with the menu and what they ordered, and the rest of us cleaned our plates too. I had what was probably the best fish pie I've ever eaten. Great value, friendly service, excellent food. Highly recommended.

All the food was amazing, and it arrived at our three tables at the same time. It's a friendly place, with plenty of parking directly across the road, and dogs are welcome too. Well worth visiting, in my opinion.
