The views and location are stunning, and the staff were very friendly, professional, and gave great service. We only stopped in for lunch and to see if we might stay in future. The lunch menu was limited that day, and neither the chowder nor the steak sandwich was especially impressive. The scenery made up for our disappointment. They wouldn't need to do much with the food given those views, and they didn't.

After our friend was injured in an accident on the cliffs, we took him to The Lands End Hotel, the closest place we could reach. They had a first aider there, and the staff responded immediately, helping quickly to get him medical attention and bringing him drinks as well. Thank you to the kind, helpful bar and reception staff.

The food was a highlight. I ordered the pork sausage and fennel pasta two days in a row because I liked it that much, so compliments to the chef. We had two great days at this amazing hotel, and the staff here, at the attractions and in the shops were all excellent, friendly and helpful.

The views were nice and the staff were friendly and accommodating, especially considering we arrived soaked from a three-hour coastal walk from Minnack and left puddles wherever we went. But the restaurant food was a real letdown: bland, with stale bread and small portions for the price. We were starving, so we ate it all without complaining. I'm only reviewing the restaurant meal.

The room was small but lovely, with a big bathroom and great views. The receptionist and evening staff were really nice, though the breakfast staff need to work on their customer service. Breakfast starts at 8, and we were told we could try coming in five minutes early because we needed to catch the 8:37 bus. As soon as we walked in, a young, tall lad with short hair confronted us rudely, nearly pushed us back out, then shut and locked the door. I understand being told they're not ready, but there are better ways to handle it. They opened up at 8:02. It's not a cheap hotel, either.
