We come back to this fabulous cottage every year, and it really feels like home. It sleeps seven, so we stay as a family with the grandparents. Mornings start with a cooked breakfast around the lovely big table, then it's only a two-minute walk to a great view over the ocean and Perranporth. The town keeps growing, with surf and gift shops, convenience stores, restaurants and takeaways. We love the sandy beach, natural sea pool and caves, and spend time bodyboarding and building sandcastles. The Watering Hole on the beach is lovely for sunset, and we've made lots of happy family memories and taken some great photos there. The owners and management have always given us personal, five-star help whenever we've needed it. The house has everything for a great stay. We've been in summer and at Christmas, when we enjoyed the roaring fire and Christmas Day walks on the beach. It's a must for us.

There's off-road parking for two cars, and the beach is five minutes away. A perfect, spacious cottage with everything you need, plus a log burner, walk-in shower and freestanding bath. I'd recommend it.

The hosts were great, and the cottage is dog friendly. It's stylish, full of character and well equipped, close to both the beach and town. Just what you'd hope for in Cornwall.
