We had a lovely evening here for a family 70th birthday. The setting and atmosphere were great, and the staff were efficient, helpful and accommodating. The menu had loads to choose from, and it was good value. We started with tea and toast, then had a really filling High Tea, finishing with scones, meringues and more tea. We’ll definitely be back! 5 🌟

The Tay views were lovely, the location was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room had what we needed and was fairly quiet, and breakfast was very good. There were some details that need attention, though, including mould around the taps and bath, and the mattress definitely needs replacing.

The staff were pleasant, but parking was a bit of a problem. The room was nice and clean, although the radiator sat in a bay window behind full-length curtains. The bed was much too soft for me and the pillows weren’t comfortable. Food was warm, and the self-serve hot breakfast was only warm and not very nice.

The hotel looks out over the river, with the bridge lit up at night, and it’s an easy trip into town for the shops, arts and theatre. The people there were lovely, caring and considerate. Breakfast had the usual buffet options, plus porridge on request, and I enjoyed the haggis, a rare treat. Such a pity our room was awful.

There’s a lot of charm and interesting character to this hotel. We brought our dog and they made sure we were all well accommodated. The team were genuinely kind, really friendly and helpful, and breakfast was very good too.
