Ascot House

For £87 in early Jan, we got a warm welcome at reception and a tidy, clean two-bedroom apartment. The single room had an ensuite, and the double room had a large bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped, with salt and pepper, washing-up liquid, pots, pans and lots more. The beds were comfy. My only real gripe was a draft from the windows, but at that price I can't complain. It's about a 16-minute drive to beautiful Stamford and roughly the same to Peterborough. Would definitely recommend.

Yvonne was amazing when she booked our room. I used to work in that building when it was the Norwich & Peterborough Building Society's Head Office, and she reserved a room in roughly the same spot as my old office. The rooms are beautiful and the value was fantastic. Thank you so much, Yvonne!

I've stayed here now and then over the past year, and the customer service has always been friendly. The rooms are spacious and clean, the beds are very comfortable, and the staff do all they can to make short or long stays memorable. It's child friendly, and complimentary baby cribs are available if you ask. The location is great, just a couple of minutes from the A605 and M1 motorway. There is plenty of free on-site parking with 24/7 monitored CCTV. The A605 service station is a 3-4 minute drive away, with lots of food choices and fuel. A Co-op is 2-3 minutes down the road, along with a very nice local park with a lake. A great Peterborough option for a night, a weekend or a longer stay.

We hired seven apartments, and they were all very clean and well equipped. My family and I stayed after celebrating my mum's birthday. We had a calm get-together outside with music and pizza, and the staff were brilliant. The experience was great from my first call with the fabulous Tanya right through to leaving. She took such good care of us and even took time to show us around before I'd booked. Tanya was great!
