Days Inn by Wyndham Peterborough

It was easy to find just off the motorway, and there are lots of places to get food at the nearby service station. My room was roomy and clean, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep. Reception staff were friendly and helpful when I checked in. It was very good value, and I’d happily come back.

A quiet hotel with a spotless room and a very comfortable bed. The room is showing its age a bit, but the reception staff were polite and helpful. Just right when you need a clean, comfortable place for the night.

I stay here every week through my company’s bookings for coach drivers, and the repeated lack of professionalism has been extremely disappointing. Once, I was given a key to a room that was already occupied, and walked in to find guests asleep inside. That was a serious privacy and safety failure. On a different visit, I waited more than 15 minutes at an empty reception desk just to get my key, which is exhausting after a long day driving. The carpets are also filthy, with oil stains, and the rooms don’t seem well maintained. I need a clean, dependable place to rest as a professional driver, and this hotel doesn’t meet basic hospitality standards. I wouldn’t recommend it.

After a hard day at work, it was lovely to be greeted and helped so warmly. sherin was efficient, helpful, and always smiling. She sorted out my booking problem quickly. I’ll be back soon.
