The host was welcoming and easy to reach from the start, and the annex was a quiet little retreat for me and my boyfriend. We needed somewhere to relax and reconnect, and it suited us perfectly. There are lots of food options nearby, from Chinese, Indian and Italian to fish and chips, a bakery, kebab and pizza, plus a few pubs across the road. A Spar and a Coop are just around the corner too. We'd happily stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The host was helpful whenever we had questions, and it was handy having a shop and bakery next door and a pub across the road. The apartment was cosy, clean and well looked after. My partner and I had a wonderful time, and it really felt like home.
The hosts were lovely and very helpful throughout the two weeks we stayed. The place was well maintained, right in the town centre and close to all the shops.
November 2023 update: It was just as lovely as my last visit, and now there's a baby gate so we could leave the door open without the dog running into the alley. A really thoughtful and useful touch. Back in July 2023, my first stay in Crowland, The Annexe was cosy and dog friendly. Shops were close by, including a bakery, fish and chips shop, butcher and co-op, and the ancient Trinity Bridge and the Abbey were nearby too.
The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we appreciated all the thoughtful touches around the accommodation. It was beautiful, in a lovely area, and the hosts communicated really well.
