Aspen Guest House

We needed a place for the night at very short notice, and Nisa at Lost Guest House was incredibly kind and helpful while checking us in. My partner and I were going through a stressful time, and she was a real lifesaver. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was roasting hot. We skipped breakfast, so can't comment on that, but it's worth it for a quick stopover. We really appreciated the kindness and hospitality. Thank you. Lynda and Darren

The outside looks a little shabby, but inside we were very pleased with our double room. The place was exceptionally clean, the ladies on staff were lovely, and they were happy to help with anything. Breakfast costs extra, though it's still excellent value. My only small gripe was that I couldn't connect a Fire Stick to the TV, but there was an internal DVD player. We'll certainly stay again, many thanks.

For £29 a night, this was a bargain and a fantastic little guest house. We spent one night in the attic room. The only issue I noticed was the coat rail hanging off the wall, so we had nowhere to put our coats except the floor. Breakfast was £5, and the lady serving was fantastic. We had bacon, sausages, beans and egg, with as much toast, tea, coffee and juice as we wanted. I'd highly recommend it for a couple of nights.

The room was clean and the price was affordable, but the floor sloped, which made the bed feel slanted too. I couldn't sleep well, and there was no hot water for the shower.
