I called six times to ask about booking because the online page kept freezing. Someone picked up each time, stayed silent, then hung up. Really poor service.

The pool, sauna and gym area is amazing, though the pictures don’t really show it. The hosts went out of their way to help with everything, and the accommodation itself is brilliant. I’d recommend it 10 times out of 10 to anyone visiting the area, and I’ll definitely be back.

Browns Bed & Breakfast guesthouse was a jackpot stay with my crew, Shaggy, Toshak, and Charlie. Mary & Jim are a brilliant hosting team and made us feel very welcome. The rooms are so big there’s space for Twister and a dance party. The swimming pool and jacuzzi feel like a dolphin-designed cartoon water park, and the kitchen and dining room have a gourmet buffet vibe with a bit of stand-up comedy thrown in. A memorable place to stay.

Everything was fresh, spotless and immaculate, and Mary was so kind and helpful throughout. You can tell she puts a lot into making guests comfortable. The bed was amazingly comfortable, and the dining space was clean and pleasant to eat in. The kitchen had cereal, milk, tea, coffee, bread and fruit juice to help yourself to. The pool was very clean, with lovely touches like mood lighting, coloured water, a TV and a hot tub. The small gym had current equipment and weights, just right for being away. The sunbed and sauna were clean and easy to use, though both cost extra, and I thought they were well worth it. Thanks, Mary, for being so kind to us during our stay. X
