We stopped in at about 4pm on a Thursday and got such a lovely welcome. The food was freshly cooked, tasty, nicely presented, and good value. What an unexpected treat. We’ll certainly come back if we’re passing this way again.

From the moment we walked into the sea view hotel (Boddam) until we left, the staff treated us with the utmost respect and took brilliant care of us. Nothing was a problem. We had Cullen skink, then roast chicken, and finished with a selection of sorbet. Great food and a great time. Huge thanks to the staff and chef, we’ll definitely be back 👌🏽

The two young waitresses were so friendly and smiley, and nothing was too much trouble. We had Sunday lunch at the Seaview Hotel, roast beef with Yorkshire pudding and veg, plus cauliflower cheese on the side. Absolutely delicious. I’d definitely recommend it for Sunday lunch.

I only ducked in for a cuppa and to get out of the rain, but the staff were friendly. The food in the adverts looked amazing, so I’ll try some next time. I didn’t stay.

The hotel has a pretty nice view, though I couldn’t see it from my room. Mine was small, plain, and a bit outdated. The food was disappointing too. I ordered the seafood mac and cheese, but I’d mistakenly read it as Tesco-style “sea-view mac and cheese”. It was overpriced and came with cheap fries. Maybe it depends on what you order, but my meal felt no better than a Tesco set menu.
