The village is lovely, and everyone we met was so welcoming. My dad stayed two nights while we were in the area for my son's wedding near Upavon at Chalk Barn. He showed me around his room at the pub, and it looked gorgeous. He hasn't stopped talking about how much he enjoyed it. One of our best stays in England.

We needed somewhere nearby for a wedding engagement and couldn't have been happier with our choice. The staff were friendly, the room was clean, and the bathroom was excellent. Breakfast was a full English.

The bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the beer and food, both dinner and breakfast. Service was excellent, too. The location is nice. The rooms are a little dated, and our shower dripped while the sink outflow leaked. Nothing major, but those little issues were annoying.

We arrived later than expected, but a member of staff stayed up to let us in and was incredibly kind. My teenage daughter and I spent two nights here. Our room was lovely, and the staff were very helpful. We especially liked the waterfall shower and the full English breakfast. We'd happily stay at The Antelope again.

The room was lovely and modern, with a comfortable bed and a great shower. They kindly fitted an extra bed for our three-year-old and still had room for the baby's travel cot. They didn't have an allergy menu or cow's milk alternatives for our baby with dairy and soy allergies, though. I'd still recommend it for a short trip to visit family.
