Willowbank Lodges

The location, facilities and host were all perfect. I stayed with my wife and our two small children, and we all felt as happy as if we were at home. We’ll book again. If it’s available, just book it. I can’t fault the place.

We loved coming back for a second stay, this time for ten days. The lodges are beautifully set out with plenty of space between them, and the two lakes sit within well maintained grounds. We made good use of the benches positioned to enjoy the views. The lodge was well furnished and equipped, just as others have said. It’s a tranquil retreat with lots of wildlife around, and a great base for a holiday. The nearby canal path made it easy to walk either way to pubs serving good food.

There’s plenty of wildlife to spot, including herons, kingfishers and swans. It’s a peaceful place to unwind, with lots of walks along the lanes and tow path.

We’ve just come back from a family Christmas stay at the wonderfully peaceful Willowbank Lodges. Bullrush was cosy, with plenty of room for all of us and everything we needed. The beds were really comfortable. We spotted a kingfisher through the living room window, and there’s a lovely little nature reserve nearby.
