Ann's Cottage and The Old Smithy

We came for our wedding stay, and it was amazing. The owners were so friendly, and the house and location were beautiful. It was their first time hosting Vegans, but they made sure we were catered for, with vegan milk, butter, cereal, yogurts, and a lovely breakfast. We'll stay again and would recommend it to anyone.

The cottages are immaculate, in a lovely setting, and have all the facilities you'd need. The amenities inside are first class, and there's a great choice at breakfast. Ann and Colin put so much into looking after you. They make you feel welcome as a guest and send you off feeling like a friend. They're both so helpful that no request seems like too much.

The accommodation is spotless, the breakfast is brilliant, and it's such a relaxing, beautiful place to stay. There are some gorgeous walks around the area too. Ann and Colin are genuinely lovely and take great care of you, even during these difficult times. We can't recommend it enough and will definitely be back. Kathryn and Ian

Ann and Colin's breakfasts deserve a mention first. I've travelled around the world and used to think the Marriott in New York did the best cooked breakfast. Then I tried Ann's. Don't miss it! I've worked as a chartered designer and builder, and I'm a perfectionist, so I don't say this lightly: the buildings are faultless. The workmanship, design, furnishings, fittings, and attention to detail are all first class. Ann and Colin have put a lot of themselves into these conversions, and they're excellent hosts and good friends. You won't get a better welcome. The accommodation is wonderful, in a beautiful setting, and the Visitors Books tell the same story again and again.
