Annslea Guest House

We were pleasantly surprised by this cottage. If it's considered 'no frills', I'd like to see what the 'with frills' places are like! Everything looked fresh and clean, with new paint throughout. The kitchen is compact but has what you need. Both bedrooms have good sized bathrooms, and the beds are firm and comfortable. I especially liked having plenty of room for toiletries and make-up, plus a dressing table in the bathroom that worked perfectly as a make-up spot. The bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the cottage, so there's good privacy. The owners were friendly and nearby if needed. Really, there's nothing to dislike, and I hope we can visit again.

Annslea guest house has lovely hosts, great facilities and thoughtful details that give it a homely feel. It's a peaceful, quiet place in a great spot, just a short walk from Pitlochry's main street. Breakfast was delicious too. I can't fault it.

Gerry and Karen always went out of their way to help, and this is a great family B&B. Our room had just been decorated and was very nice. We've also stayed in the cottage on the grounds, which is a separate building and lovely. Highly recommend it.

We keep coming back to Annslea, our first choice B&B in Pitlochry. They always make us feel welcome, and the location works so well for both the town centre and theatre. The accommodation is lovely and comfortable, with an appealing, well prepared breakfast every morning. Love our visits!
