The lodge was warm, quiet and comfortable, and the family had a great weekend there. It was well equipped and nicely furnished, just what we wanted. We booked through the website at a really good price. The views are amazing, and it’s a great spot for looking at the night sky. There are lots of places to visit nearby, plus red squirrels and plenty of birds around the lodges. The booklet has useful information, and the Wi-Fi and phone signal were good. We’ll be back.

We spent 27th - 31st Dec 2025 at the Faskally lodge. Even with very cold weather outside, it was cosy, warm and well equipped. The milk, wine and amazing Tunnock's teacakes in the fridge were a lovely gesture. The views from the lodge were spectacular, and watching birds and red squirrels at the feeders was a treat. Tayview Lodges is a peaceful place to relax, and a good base for exploring beautiful Scotland. We’d recommend it.

The three-bedroom lodge was quiet and relaxing, and I booked direct for an even better rate. It’s an easy drive to Glenshee and Cairngorm ski centres. There’s so much to see and do nearby, so I hope to stay longer next time.

We cooked every evening during our four-night October stay in Ordie. The kitchen is on the small side, but we made it work. The lodge was clean, cosy and well kept, with comfortable beds, and we all enjoyed the beautiful, relaxing setting. Although it sits back from the A9, traffic could be heard at night in the bedroom nearest the road. If you’re sensitive to noise, bring earplugs.

Set beside the Tay, this was a peaceful, cosy base for seeing the southern Highlands. It’s near lots of places of interest, and the kitchen is fully equipped.
