We had a lovely dinner and breakfast, and the service was so friendly. The inn sits in a beautiful coastal village, and our room was spacious and attractive, with a good bed that felt a little narrow. Being so welcoming to dogs was a real bonus. I only wish we could have stayed longer.

The restaurant food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly. Our room was small but tidy, very clean, and full of character. Someone in our party has limited mobility, and being on the top floor made things harder, though a bit of planning helped us manage. The quaint town may be one of the most beautiful places we’ve seen anywhere. Between my wife and me, we’ve travelled to many places.

The staff made the stay, especially the enthusiastic woman who checked us in and the lovely man from South Africa, maybe Jeffro? Sorry, we didn’t get their names quite right. Our room at the Plockton Inn was clean and up to date, with a comfortable bed. The shower was weak, so I took off a star for that. We really enjoyed the location too, just a short way from the water.

We stayed in the attic at Sorley House. It was a bit cramped for someone tall, but had a lovely view and everything we needed. Such a charming place, and about as quintessential a small British village hotel as you could hope for.

The staff were all friendly and helpful, and we had a fantastic breakfast and a great dinner. It’s a lovely hotel in a gorgeous location. Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
