The host was nice enough, but cleanliness was lacking. The place felt very dated, and the shared bathroom was not nice at all. A disappointing stay.

The location was great, and the views were nice. The bed was comfortable, too, but the house was very dated and generally unkempt. Breakfast wasn't appetising, and the shared bathroom with carpet was horrible. We couldn't wait to leave.

Jim and Inga couldn't have done more for us at this great guest house. After a gruelling, windy bike ride from Ness, Jim had beers ready when we arrived. The cooked breakfast was amazing. The images show the view from the hotel.

If you want a simple bed for the night and a good breakfast, go for it. I got great service and felt relaxed here, without stuffy staff or painted receptionists. This is a traditional guest house, not a place for lavish luxury, expensive style, or expecting people to cater to every whim. My single room had a shared bathroom, which caused me no trouble. It's a relaxing place to stay.

Set in a bay, this is close to the ferry terminal but tucked away from the town centre. It's a good place to catch your breath before exploring, with a very pleasant and helpful host. Breakfast was very nice, too.
