We loved our stay at this great cottage. It's clean and cosy, with a supermarket not too far away, and a handy base for travelling the tourist trails. If you're planning to eat out locally, it would help to book ahead, as the places to eat in nearby Hillsborough fill up quickly.

We spent two nights here and were very disappointed. The host wasn't very welcoming, and there were dirty dishes left in the dishwasher from the previous guests, along with dirty cushions on the sofa. On the first morning we heard a noise that we thought was birds outside. The next morning my husband was downstairs and I heard it again. It was mice in the attic. Safe to say we won't stay here again.

I already love this fabulous house after our first night. It was such a good price, and so close to Belfast while still being out in the countryside.

It's peaceful and quiet, with the main cities still easy to reach.
