It’s been almost a month since our stay, and we still remember how kind and friendly the staff were. Our room was amazing, and breakfast was delicious, with a huge buffet of good products in a warm, well laid out dining room. The price was reasonable too. If I come back to Plockton, this will of course be my first choice. Thanks for everything, ciao from Italy!

After several hours on the road with our group of 14 on a Highlands car tour, the Haven Guest House made us feel right at home. Lynne met us when we arrived, one of the friendliest people you’ll meet on your travels, and showed us to room 14. It was comfortable, with a modern bathroom and lovely views over Plockton’s rooftops to the sea. The lounge was a very comfortable spot to catch up with the other travellers and swap stories from the day. You could make tea and coffee in your room, or ask Lynne to make some in the lounge. Breakfast was amazing, with a hot buffet, plenty of fruit and cereal, and even cakes to take away for later. Thanks to everyone at the Haven Guest House for going the extra mile to make a stay memorable.

The owner and staff were friendly, and the B&B was very well equipped. It’s a sizeable place, so I wondered if it may have been a hotel before. The breakfast buffet was terrific, with a wide range of cooked and continental choices. There are rumours a hotel group may take over the property soon, so it’s hard to know whether things will stay the same.

Lynne was so welcoming and lovely, and the rooms were spotless with a really comfortable bed. It’s great value for money, especially with the buffet breakfast included, and very dog friendly too. Absolutely amazing, what a beautiful place. Highly recommend!

The cooked food, toast, pancakes, fruit and cereals made for probably the best breakfast we’ve had while travelling. There was everything you could want, and the chef and assistants were always cheerful and chatty, checking that we were all right. Lynne was a wonderful host at The Haven in Plockton, nothing was too much trouble, and she sent us off with plenty of her homemade shortbread. We only stayed one night, but we’ll definitely return. She let us leave our car in the car park round back while we went on a boat trip. Delicious shortbread! There are also two wee scamp dogs who love an ear rub or a belly stroke.
