We really liked the thought the B&B has put into running a sustainable business. Paul and Jacqui were lovely and accommodating, and the place had everything we needed. Our room had a massive, comfortable bed and a lovely feather down duvet, and they provided a dog blanket, towel for after beach days, water bowl, and treats for an extra dog charge. Breakfast was amazing. The breakfast bap arrived piping hot and right on time each morning. We were there for Halloween, and although the pub behind was busy, everyone was respectful. The town is sweet and quiet, with lovely narrow lanes and some really cool walks and beaches nearby. The book in the B&B has plenty of places to eat and information about local walks. We really recommend staying here.

The rooms are finished to a high standard, and Paul and Jacqui were attentive and very accommodating with what I wanted and needed. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here.

During my four-day stay, the proprietor was friendly and helpful. The B&B was well organized and very clean, and the room service dinner was excellent. Jacki and Paul couldn’t have been more helpful while I was walking the South West Coast Path.

I had a really nice room with a very comfortable bed, great shower, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, and big TV. They’d also left a blanket, bowl, and treats for my dog, and the owners were welcoming. The village of Holbeton is lovely, with the accommodation close to the village shop and pub, and a shared hot tub. On my final day I had a continental breakfast: three cereals to choose from, two good-sized pots of jam, a croissant, Danish pastry, Greek yogurt with fruit compote, and a bottle of orange juice. I’ll definitely come again.

I loved the comfortable, excellent quality bed, and it was nice to find fresh milk in the fridge along with good tea and biscuits. The room was clean, but the decor was below standard, especially the window blinds, which let people walking past look in. At 8 am, the owners were watering plants just outside while I was still in bed trying to relax with tea. For £100 a night on Sunday and Monday, that didn’t feel professional. I didn’t have the pub car park emptying outside my window, but several noisy vehicles did pass close by. The bed was comfortable, but the accommodation quality didn’t justify the price.
