We were heading to a party, so we stopped at the pub for an early supper. I expected veggie food to be hard to find, but the mushroom stroganoff was banging. Really good, hot and tasty, and it looked good on the plate. My partner enjoyed her beef pie too. Well done, chefs. Keep cooking real food like this instead of microwave rubbish. X

This is our local, and we’re always happy to be welcomed back. The service is excellent, the food is brilliant, and the prices are so reasonable. Best public house in Pontardawe.

There were five of us eating, and we all enjoyed our meals, including the vegan one, which was banging. We started with a free bowl of salad. The portions were generous across the board, and the wrap with chips was huge. We’ll definitely come again when we’re in the area.

The staff were really lovely, and the food was beautiful. The rooms could do with updating, though, and the mattresses and pillows need replacing. There could also be more than one plug by the mirror for doing your hair. Small things like cups in the holders for toothbrushes would help too, so you can actually drink the coffee in the room.

The portions are generous, and everything was tasty and nicely presented. We got a free salad bar with the meal, the service was great, and the pudding was lush. I’d go again.
