The shower pressure was brilliant, just what you want after a full day riding. I’ve stayed here twice now, once over Christmas a couple of years back and again for a weekend in August with a friend, travelling on our motorbikes. The hosts are so friendly and accommodating. They sorted breakfast choices and evening meals, and our room was lovely and clean. The shower made it hard to leave the bath.

Angela and Kevin were the part of our stay we appreciated most. They were so welcoming and supportive, and we can’t thank them enough. The hotel itself is in a quiet village in the heart of Wales, with spacious ensuite rooms, an amazing café, and remarkable food and drinks. The building has furniture from hundreds of years ago, too. If you’re considering a stop here, it’s a lovely place to choose.

There were seven of us, hungry motorcyclists, and this was the only place open in the village. I think the pub had only been taken over that day, but the new owners went out of their way to make us toasted sandwiches and coffees. My ham, cheese and tomato sandwich was really good, with proper thick ham, nice cheddar and juicy tomato. Great service and quality food. Highly recommended.

Angela was such a lovely, welcoming host and made our stay feel perfect. The room was beautiful, and breakfast was lovely too. Oakleigh, the dog, enjoyed it as well!

Angela and Kevin made us feel so welcome after a long day on the trail. The rooms are cozy and homely, and breakfast was just what we needed before setting off on the next leg. A great stop for hikers or bikepackers who value genuine hospitality. We left with happy memories and full hearts. Diolch am bopeth!
