We had a relaxing stay, and Matthew, the owner and manager, was amazingly friendly and always willing to go the extra mile. It’s close to the M4, so getting there was easy, and there’s a nice spot for barbecues. Families and groups with kids should find it a good place to unwind. A couple of families could share a cabin too, if sharing one bathroom works for them. The value for the money is great, as long as you don’t expect five-star hotel standards at this price. Highly recommended, worth every penny.

We had a fabulous Easter weekend in the beautiful, peaceful cabin. The staff were so kind and helpful. A lovely place to spend time with friends or family.

We only decided at the last minute to come for a beach visit, and the recently renovated cabin turned out to be a brilliant base. The river runs right past it, which made a perfect setting. After tea we dropped into the Tafarn, where Matthew and Isobel made us, the children, and our dog feel completely welcome. We had such a good evening that we reluctantly headed to bed wishing we could stay longer. We’ll definitely return for a longer visit.

I’ve stayed at this venue a few times and have always been impressed by Nigel and the team. They’re friendly and extremely helpful, and even when a few maintenance problems came up during our stay, they sorted them quickly. I can’t fault them. Thanks, Nigel and team!
