The room was lovely, and the self-service breakfast was nice, with tea, coffee, cereal and toast. It’s similar to a youth hostel, and the en suite could do with a little renovation. We never met any staff, but the app communication was excellent. Lovely place and very reasonably priced.

The location is great, but I won’t be returning. The room smelled, the bathroom fan was loud and couldn’t be switched off, and wires ran all around the walls. The curtains were disgusting. You could hear everyone in their rooms and doors banging all night. Breakfast was okay, but there was no fresh squash or juice.

A great location, with clean rooms that are well equipped. The staff were polite, and I’ll definitely stay again.

This was booked in advance for my husband’s birthday, and it was completely ruined for us. I’d booked a ground-floor room because he has trouble with stairs, but when we arrived we were told we had a room on the top floor. If we’d known that beforehand, we’d never have booked. There was no heating, and it was absolutely freezing. We booked two nights, but one was enough. The staff were totally useless, and I wouldn’t recommend this place if you need first-floor access.

The beds were comfortable and the location was good, but the place is very dated and needs a facelift. Breakfast was very poor. Honestly, I wouldn’t rush back.
