The pool, jacuzzi, hot tub, gym and sauna are all there, and the apartment looks out over Portland Harbour and the Olympic sailing academy. Set in Castletown, right in the heart of the Jurassic Coast, it’s a fascinating spot. The penthouse is thoughtfully and tastefully equipped, and every room opens onto a balcony that runs the full length of the place. Not too shabby.

We loved the ocean views from 50 Atlantic House, and really didn’t want to leave. The apartment was spotless, the beds were so comfortable, and we could easily imagine living there.
