We had a family suite overlooking the beach, and the rooms were lovely. It's a great place to stay when the weather's good, with a pleasant short walk down to the beach. The all-day carvery also makes an easy lunch or dinner for the family.

The meat and vegetables were cooked just right, and the meal was delicious, with allergy-free choices available. We stopped for lunch during an afternoon tour on the way to the Causeway. The staff were friendly and excellent.

We went for the Sunday carvery with four adults and a toddler, and the staff were first class, no complaints at all. There's a very impressive range of food, all cooked perfectly. You choose your starter and dessert, then pick the meat for your main, with plenty of roasties and other sides. It was £30 per head and worth every penny. We were told it's a popular place, and I can see why. Definitely go, you won't be disappointed.

The sea-view tables have excellent views and are well worth choosing. Coffee and scones are good for a quick stop, and the main dining room is consistently good, whether you go for the carvery or à la carte.

We had the carvery for Sunday dinner. The meat was well cooked and served in generous portions, with vegetables to help yourself to. Desserts were good too.
