The food was spot on, and it wasn’t greasy. We’ve come for breakfast with work friends plenty of times, and the team always make it a good visit. The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to help. The manager keeps the pub in order and is lovely too. It’s clean, in a great spot, and the chefs and service are both brilliant. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed.

I needed somewhere near the Hospital, and the location couldn’t have worked better. The room matched its description and was good value. Ollie and Mel at reception and in the bar were faultless, friendly, efficient and full of useful information. The food was good as well, and service was prompt. Thank you!

I was really impressed by how seriously the team handled my food allergy when I came in for breakfast. They went well beyond what you’d normally expect to make sure the meal was safe for me. Everyone was kind, welcoming and polite too. You’ve got very high standards, and it’s appreciated. Well done, guys!

Amanda, Miles and Emma looked after me with a smile and were all really helpful. I’d popped into the Red Lion on Cosham for a pint and a snack while my family were at the cinema. Enjoyed the food, drink and atmosphere, and I’d recommend it.
