The breakfast was divine, and JJ made our family feel at home from the moment we arrived. We were travelling from America with our one-year-old, and his advice helped make the trip special. We’d accidentally booked during a moto race that closed roads, but he explained which roads would be shut and when, and how we could avoid being disrupted. I hardly ever leave reviews, but if a room is available, book it. This will be my first choice next time I’m in Northern Ireland.

After a busy day at the Dark Hedges, Carrick-a-Rede, Ballintoy Harbour and the Giants Causeway, Portstewart seemed like a sensible place to stop for the night. We were glad we’d booked Cul-Erg. The welcome was warm, the accommodation was great, and breakfast was amazing. We also got valuable advice for the next day’s itinerary. Many thanks!

Marie and JJ really looked after us, always friendly and attentive. It’s a beautiful place, and breakfast was excellent. Such a lively stay, and we felt very welcome.

We had a fine Sunday lunch in a pleasant spot. There’s street parking right outside, and the prom is just a short stroll away.

We ended a long-distance walking trip here after staying in lots of places, and these were by far the comfiest beds of the trip. The rooms were lovely, and the robes were a dream. Breakfast was delicious, the service was amazing, and the location was quiet but close to downtown. Just right for being near everything without the noise.
