The hosts were so kind, and their lovely dog was just as welcoming. We woke to wild ponies in the morning and incredible stars at night. My wife and I came with a big, noisy group of New Yorkers and had a great time. The room stayed cosy and warm overnight. Once I figured out the shower, it was really nice, and breakfast was wonderful, with well-cooked farm-fresh eggs and plenty of coffee. What more could you want? 10/10.

The walks around here are excellent, so it's a great place to stop if that's what you're after. We stayed earlier in the year with our dog, and the hosts were friendly and welcoming. Our room was small and basic, I suppose, but we didn't need anything else. Breakfast was decent and cooked to order.

We liked being able to come and go, and there was a nice lounge where we could sit and read. The hosts were welcoming and very nice, and their gorgeous Collie is called Jethro. Breakfast was good. The bathroom in our room could use some attention, and wasn't the nicest. The towels were small and didn't absorb very well.

The hosts made us feel right at home, and we enjoyed our stay so much we'd happily come back any time. This is a beautiful old house in the middle of Dartmoor, with comfortable, very clean rooms. Breakfast was the best we had on our 10-day trip around Britain.

Right in the middle of Dartmoor, this lovely bed and breakfast feels idyllic, and the whole place is beautifully situated. The hosts are wonderful and make you feel very welcome. The rooms are divine. I'd gladly recommend it for either a short visit or a longer stay.
