Tomahawk Steakhouse Potto

The steaks were cooked mid rare just right, and there was a good choice of sides. The staff were excellent and the service was superb. We had a great time and wouldn’t hesitate to visit again if we’re nearby.

The people who served us were friendly and very professional. We enjoyed the visit so much that we’re coming back next Monday.

Our meal and breakfast were both fabulous, with attentive, friendly staff throughout. We chose the three courses for £20, which was great value, and the food was really tasty. At breakfast, Ryan made sure we had everything we needed. Ryan was also a perfect host during our stay, always attentive and there when needed. The room was clean, spacious and very nice, a real bargain at £49. From arrival to departure, the whole experience was first class. We’ll definitely stay and eat here again. 10/10

The room, number 5, was beautifully decorated and immaculate, including the ensuite. We had a brilliant overnight stay at Potto, with great service from check-in through to checkout. We arrived early while the restaurant was busy, but the man checking us in still found us a table. We shared some starters tapas style with a gin, a beer and a bottle of wine, then came back later for dinner. Both of us had parmos and shared cookie dough and brownie desserts, yummy. We finished the wine and had Irish coffees, and Hubby took a malt whiskey up for a nightcap. The beer, gin and cocktail choices were great too. Under £50 for a Sunday night was excellent value. Breakfast the next morning had a great choice and everything was well cooked. After checkout we went for a little 3 mile wander through the beautiful North Yorkshire countryside around the pub. We stopped back for coffees before heading home, and the young lady serving said they were on the house. Such a lovely gesture, and much appreciated. The whole hospitality team at Potto deserves credit, from front of house, bar and waiting staff to the chefs, kitchen and cleaning teams. The food was up to standard, and all the areas were immaculate and well presented. Thank you, we can’t wait to return.
