The newly upgraded restaurant had a nice atmosphere. It was really busy, with Jane and one young lad running the whole place on their own, and the decent food left us full and happy. The rest of the team were excellent too. Jane gave us exceptional service this weekend. I’d mistakenly booked a room for my sons and me with only two beds, but she went out of her way to set up another foldaway bed, even while covering reception and working in the restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble. Thanks, team!

The all-you-can-eat breakfast had a great selection, and Payal made the visit especially enjoyable. She was warm and welcoming as soon as we arrived, and kept checking that we had everything we needed. You don’t often get service that’s this friendly and attentive. Payal is a real credit to the team!

We were visiting family in Preston and spent two nights here. It’s easy to reach from the M6, and the rooms are spacious, clean and quiet. Everyone on staff was friendly. Payal was especially welcoming and kept things running smoothly in the dining area at breakfast.

We stayed over Christmas, and the accommodation and facilities were great even with renovations going on. What made the visit especially lovely was manager Jane. She goes well beyond her job to make every guest feel welcome, and made me feel really special. I can’t say enough about her. Thank you, Jane, for making my Christmas absolutely awesome.
