Julie, the manager, made us feel very welcome and was happy to help with anything. We stayed one night in a clean, comfortable room, right in the heart of Bamber Bridge. The pub was nicely decorated, and the food and drinks were good value. We’d definitely stay again.

The Pie of the Week, filled with blue cheese and potatoes, was the highlight for me. Its golden, flaky crust and tangy, hearty filling made for a memorable combination. I visited under the new management, and the friendly, attentive staff made me feel welcome from the start. The pub has a warm, comfortable atmosphere, a nice place to unwind after a long day. The changes to the menu are an exciting touch, and I’d happily visit again. VSW

There are only two rooms, and breakfast isn’t provided. Since it’s mainly a pub, the rooms can get quite noisy while the pub is open and playing music.
