The roast was lovely, and somehow my small portion was enormous! Natasha gave us fantastic service, just the right level of attention without hovering. We waited a little for our table, which is to be expected on a Sunday afternoon, and it was in a great spot. We’ll definitely be back.

We had lunch indoors because of the weather, but the Calverley Arms is in such a lovely spot with a great view. Inside felt warm and cosy on a winter’s day, and it’s nicely decorated. The set menu was decent value and the food was really good. We were too full for pudding, which says plenty. Service was great too.

Louise and Ellie were so friendly, and they were happy to make a few small changes to suit my grandparents. I took them to the Calverley Arms for a Christmassy meal, and it was a lovely occasion, with a relaxing atmosphere and genuinely helpful staff. We chose the festive menu: sea bass, chicken, pancetta and leek pie, and steak, followed by salted caramel profiteroles and sticky toffee pudding. Everything was delicious. Chefs Danny and Amber cooked it all perfectly. I’d happily recommend it and will definitely return.

The room had everything we needed, and the place felt warm and cosy from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a smile and made to feel very welcome. Breakfast was truly delicious, freshly cooked and carefully plated. Thanks to Jo for being so kind and helpful while serving us. A definite 10 out of 10, and we’ll be back.

Jo is always such a pleasure to be served by. Lunch at the Calverley was delicious, I had the fish finger sandwich and mini crumble, and loved the whole experience.
