We had a spacious, comfortable room and a very good breakfast the next morning. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We were there for one night while going to a 70th birthday party at a local pub, and it was perfect for our stay.

The rooms are clean and comfortable, and breakfast is excellent. Just to be clear, this is a B&B rather than a hotel, so there's no lunch or evening meal.

Breakfast had a delicious range of freshly prepared choices, and they were able to make me a takeaway sandwich for later. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the service really impressed me. My room at Chequers Hotel in Pulborough was immaculate and comfortable, with a lovely mix of charm and amenities. The hotel is in a picturesque spot with local attractions easy to reach. I highly recommend Chequers Hotel for its hospitality and hope to return when I'm in the area.

The view across the fields was lovely, and there was more than enough car parking for the number of rooms. Breakfast was cooked to order, with a choice of cornbread or rye bread and delicious coffee that was topped up often. We stayed overnight after a local wedding, and they kindly made a room available for an early check-in because the wedding started at 13.00. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was small and cosy, with everything you'd expect from a hotel and more. We'd certainly go again.
