The cottage is lovely, with a great view from the front and plenty of parking. It’s very peaceful, yet Whitby, Scarborough, North York Moors and Robin Hoods Bay are all within easy reach. There are lots of walks nearby too, including easy access to Cleveland way.

We stayed five nights and would definitely come back. The area is beautiful, with walks of varying difficulty. The pitches are neatly laid out and sheltered at the back, while still having views out front. They’re serviced, on a perfectly mown lawn, with thanks to merv the robot mower. The site is immaculate. WiFi was good at £1 a night, and booking and paying online was easy. We also got an email checking everything was alright and inviting us to ring if we needed anything.

We were four people with two dogs, and the accommodation worked really well for us. It was clean, very well equipped and thoughtfully set up, with ample parking. The area is lovely to explore, and the hosts were friendly and kept in touch throughout. Would definitely recommend.

We all came away very pleased. We stayed in a cottage, our parents were on the CL and our son and his partner were in the B&b, so we got to try a bit of everything. Everywhere was spotless, the cottages are well equipped, and the views are amazing. The owners were welcoming and accommodating, with lots of lovely walks nearby. Thank you!!!!
