easyHotel Reading

I've been to easyHotel Reading several times, and the experience has always been positive. The staff are consistently helpful, and Sayeed at reception really stands out. He's welcoming, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile. His friendly, professional approach makes a real difference, and it's why I keep coming back. Highly recommended!

It has the basics, a bed and a shower, so it’ll do if you need a roof over your head for a night or two. The room was cramped with hardly any space, which made the stay uncomfortable. For what you get, I think the price could be lower. It was okay for a short stay, and still better than having nowhere to go, but I probably wouldn’t choose it again on my next visit to Reading.

The only positive, sort of, was the location, about a 15-minute walk to town. The rooms were tiny, with stains all over the walls and barely any space to move. There was a smell of cannabis around the property, and on arrival I was told parking cost £12.50 a day. When I complained that this hadn't been made clear, the receptionist told me to read the small print on the booking website. I tried to cancel through booking.com, but the receptionist said it would be declined and I wouldn't get a refund. The staff member was rude, then walked away saying he had something else to do.
