Dinner was the standout for us. The food was fresh and delicious, the steaks were cooked just right, and even our picky kids were happy. The service was polite and attentive, and breakfast was also very good, with cooked choices, pancakes made to order, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, cereal and drinks. There was plenty of seating, so it never felt rushed. The staff were helpful throughout. Our booking wasn’t found immediately when we arrived, but they asked us to wait a few minutes, kept us comfortable in the seating area and explained everything once they located it. The first room was clean and fairly standard, though we weren’t keen on the bath instead of a shower. We also spotted ants in the bathroom. Staff dealt with that straight away, moved us to another room and offered two complimentary drinks, which we appreciated. The second room was a little more modern and had a shower. One small concern was a door stop right beside the shower entrance, where you naturally step, so it could be a trip hazard. The room was otherwise clean. The beds were okay, including the sofa bed, though neither was especially comfortable. There was no fridge, but we had a kettle, hairdryer, iron and ironing board, and extra cups arrived quickly when we asked. The gym has the basics, but it’s small and could get crowded if several people use it at once. The location was convenient, with Lidl opposite and shops, fruit markets, Tesco Express and late-opening places nearby, even on Sundays. Check-in from 2pm and check-out at 12pm worked particularly well for travelling with children. We had a very good stay, and the restaurant and helpful, professional staff really stood out. I’d recommend the hotel.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with fresh food, good quality and lots to choose from. Suleyman, who looked after the breakfast service on both mornings, was especially lovely with the children and made it fun. The hotel was a great base for our Legoland trip. Shops and restaurants are only minutes away, and the central location worked really well. Our room was clean and spacious, the beds were comfortable, and it had everything we needed for the price. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy.

Glenda was amazing and helped us out, even giving us a free Starbucks coffee because we love this place. The reception team made everything feel seamless, and the staff were absolutely lovely. We had an amazing day here. I’d recommend this hotel to anyone, any time.

Suleyman at breakfast was the best part of our stay. He was so kind, and the children loved him so much they wanted to take him home. They’re still talking about him. Thanks for making our son’s birthday extra special! The hotel was lovely and very clean, with a super comfortable bed, a great shower and an excellent breakfast. The staff were really nice too. We’ll definitely stay again.
