Student Only Kendrick Hall

The free breakfast twice a month is one of the best things here. It’s always delicious and really good quality, a lovely extra for students. Kendrick Hall has a friendly atmosphere and is a great place to live as a student. The staff are welcoming, lovely and happy to help with anything. I’ve had a very positive experience and would definitely recommend it to other students.

The security shift at night is a big help. Howard is there for night-time issues, or even just a good chat. During the day, Sheila, Becky, Lily, Jake and Maria do their best to look after everyone. I’ve been here since September, and the staff have been nothing but supportive. I’ve had a few issues, but reception and maintenance were always available and did their best to sort out my concerns. Since moving out, Kendricks has felt like home. Monthly free breakfasts, cheerful mornings, festive holidays and get-togethers help bring students and staff together. It’s about a 10-13 minute walk to town, which is convenient and gives you a chance to get to know the area. The university of Reading is also a decent walk away.

My room is cozy, and the laundry and study spaces are kept in good condition. The staff are kind and go out of their way to help, including Shelia, Howard, Jake, Lilly, Becky, stuart, Robbie and Dav. Kendrick Hall is an easy recommendation for students in Reading. It’s a short walk to the London Road campus and town centre, which has made my morning commute much easier.

Maria made my move-in much less stressful. She was professional and kind, answered all my questions, and clearly cares about the students and the building. I’ve had a really positive experience at Kendrick Hall so far. The building is clean and well-maintained, and it’s well located for both campus and town. I feel well looked after here and would recommend it to other students.
