Diane was responsive, answered all our questions, and gave us some flexibility around what could be offered given the weather. Rain meant our planned outdoor wedding reception had to move inside, but Diane and the team pulled it together, and we had a fabulous afternoon and evening. We wanted a relaxed, casual venue and couldn’t have asked for more. The BBQ menu was just right, and the beautiful garden, outdoor bar, seating area, and paddock all suited us. The play area was a big hit with the young children in our party.

We came to The Bull after seeing it on Four in a Bed, and had Sunday lunch. The meat was so tender, and the apple and peach crumble afterwards was delicious. Staff were attentive and friendly, and the Landlady Ana was lovely. It’s in a small country village in a lovely setting. We’re looking forward to another visit.

The whole restaurant and its tables were decorated for Valentine’s Day, a lovely surprise when we arrived, and they’d clearly put a lot of effort into making it a special evening. We’d booked dinner hoping to find a local country pub with gluten-free options, and the gluten-free menu had an amazing amount of choice. The service was excellent. Highly recommend!

That Sunday roast beef came with all the trimmings and a nice red wine. I finished with a rather indulgent liqueur hot chocolate, not something you come across every day. Really lovely lunch.

First visit recently, and I was blown away by the restaurant. We had two starters and two mains, all full of flavour and served in generous portions. The chef deserves a pat on the back, and Dan was very attentive as Maître d'. We’ll be back soon.
