The breakfast was delicious, nicely presented, and well organised, a lovely way to start the day. We were impressed from the moment we arrived, greeted promptly and shown to Room 3. Everything there was immaculate, spacious, modern, and tastefully decorated, among the cleanest places we’ve stayed. Complimentary robes and slippers, plus plenty of crisp white towels, were lovely extras. It all felt cosy and comfortable, and we had a truly relaxing one-night stay. We’ve just got home and already know we’ll be back. Thanks for having us, it’s a real credit to the owners.

We couldn’t find a place to stay in Saltburn by the Sea, so taking a short taxi ride to Redcar turned out to be a great choice. Lloyd was thoroughly professional and a great cook, and breakfast was excellent. If you’re walking The Cleveland Way, seriously consider staying at The Armada.

Breakfast was a lovely extra and gave Liv and me a good start to the day. My daughter and I needed somewhere to stay while our house was being renovated, and Sharon and Lloyd treated us like family. Nothing was too much trouble. Truly a little gem of a place :-)

The breakfast was so delicious I couldn’t resist, even though I don’t usually have breakfast. It set Liv and me up nicely for the day. My daughter and I needed a staycation while our house was being renovated, and Sharon & Lloyd went above and beyond, making the room feel like a little home from home. Thank you so, so much, guys x
