Lesley was so informative, and it’s clear she really loves what she does. The care and attention she gave to making us comfortable didn’t go unnoticed. We absolutely loved our stay at Troustrie House B&B. The room was beautifully furnished, clean and just what we’d hoped for. Breakfast was exceptional, and the garden and view were a delight. We’d recommend staying here.

Lesley made us feel very welcome when we arrived at Troustrie House on Saturday 10th June with my sister and brother-in-law. Her home is beautiful, and our room was comfortable. I loved the four-poster bed and slept so well in the peaceful surroundings. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious, especially the homemade pancakes. In the afternoon, Lesley brought us coffee and cake, which was an added bonus. I loved meeting her two beautiful dogs, and we’ll certainly return. Thank you for your hospitality. Lesley runs a truly luxurious B&B, with excellent breakfasts and homemade shortbread and marmalade that were faultless. It’s a short drive from St Andrews and the Fife coast, with its colourful fishing villages including Anstruther, St Monans and Pittenween. A memorable visit, and one we’d gladly repeat.

Troustrie House is its own little idyll, with a style and comfort I really loved. The breakfast was unbeatable, even compared with five-star hotels. I'd score it fourteen out of ten. I'll be back.
