Our room was spacious, en suite, cozy and bright, in a safe neighbourhood close to amenities. St. Nicholas Farmhouse is right in town, despite the name suggesting a rural location. Our stay at St. Nicholas B&B was wonderful, and our enthusiastic host's warm welcome made us feel at home, even though we were halfway around the world. Evelyn served a superb full Scottish breakfast, varied just as we liked. Try the haggis and eggs. Breakfast was set up so we could chat with the other guests. St Andrews has more to offer than golf: we took a tractor-drawn train of cars around town, with live commentary on buildings, people and history we hadn't known about. We'd gladly stay again at the St. Nicholas Farmhouse B & B.

Breakfast was the best we’d had in a week of travelling around Scotland, and we wished we’d stayed longer. Bill and Ann were lovely, accommodating and a pleasure to chat with. Our room had plenty of space for four, and the bathroom was huge, which was great after so many nights in other places. Restaurants, shops and the sea were all within walking distance, and the Wi-Fi was dependable. Hope to go back soon!

Bill and Ann are lovely people to chat with, and the guest house has a nice garden view. Breakfast was good too. If you're looking for somewhere to stay in Saint Andrews, don't miss this place.

Such friendly hosts and great food. We had a wonderful couple of nights here, and my husband got to experience the St. Andrews course.
