We had trouble finding somewhere open for food when we arrived in St Andrew's. One place after another was busy, had a closed kitchen, only takeaway, or outdoor seating. Then we found Greyfriars Inn and got a warm welcome from a friendly waitress. We stopped for a great coffee and stayed for a delicious, freshly made lunch. Portions were a good size and the prices were great. There’s a golf and whiskey theme, neither of which particularly interests me, but the place has a relaxed feel and I saw everyone being greeted warmly. I highly recommend it and will make a beeline for Greyfriars Inn next time I’m in St Andrews.

Our first visit was for lunch on New Year’s Eve, and we were really impressed by the food and the friendly, efficient service. Fiona and Sarah looked after us so well and did everything they could to make sure we enjoyed our visit. They’re a credit to the business, and the staff clearly had a good team spirit that day. I’ve been here a few times and the friendly staff and good atmosphere are consistent. The food and drinks are great and worth the price. I’ll have to make it here more often.

We went just as the kitchen opened. Our server was attentive and made sure we knew about the drinks specials and current offers. The toilets were clean and there were good options for the money. I’ve had the Korean Chicken Burger at other Belhaven's and liked it, but this one was burnt around the edges and too hard to bite into, so I couldn’t eat much of the meat. Otherwise, it was a lovely experience.

Fiona looked after us during the rugby today and was excellent. She was attentive throughout and we were very well cared for. Fantastic service.
