Jan is a lovely, welcoming hostess, and the price was competitive. Breakfast was wonderful, from the raspberries and melon to a full English cooked just right. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotless. I wanted to take my shoes off as soon as I walked in. The bed was extremely comfortable, with a sumptuous duvet and pillows that set me up for a perfect night’s sleep. One of the best value guest houses I’ve stayed in.
