The people were lovely and friendly, and the service was fantastic. The rooms are cheap and not great, but you get what you pay for. Still, the room door wouldn't stay shut, which felt dangerous if someone was following you. There's no shower railing either, and with such a deep tub that's a big safety hazard.

Last year I paid £40, which felt fair. This year it was £80, though it was still only worth £40. The room door opens straight outside, so this is a motel, not a hotel. It wouldn't shut properly, and the vertical blinds couldn't block the streetlights. The TV was tiny and its remote didn't work, and there was no heating. The place felt dirty and unsafe, with terrible beds, barking dogs, and rude, ignorant staff. At £40 I might have put up with it, but you can get much better for £80. Avoid unless you're desperate.

We had two rooms, both okay and inexpensive, though one had mold in the shower room. We hardly saw any service: luckily, we found someone to check us in, then didn't see anyone else during the stay. I think the staff also run a car service. The parking area was full of old, non-working cars, so visitors had to park on the sidewalk.

Utter crap. The place needs a proper tidy up, with weeds everywhere and overflowing litter bins. Rowdy youngsters kept me awake one night in the early hours, and the lights weren't working. I had a full-time job getting to work. I've seen a bigger TV in a Wendy house. You won't see me back.
