The Woodfalls Inn

That banoffee cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had, so light, please bring it back! The veggie roast is really good too. I’ve seen the food and menu improve a lot since the pub changed hands. We always get a friendly, warm welcome. Service can be a bit slow sometimes, but we’re usually in no rush. Whether you’re nearby or not, this pub’s worth a visit.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and there are beautiful views from this great location, with a shop within walking distance. We loved having Netflix on the TV, and the hot drinks station had teas, hot chocolate and biscuits. The room was spacious and comfortable, we slept really well, and the bathroom was spotless. We really enjoyed our stay at the Woodfalls inn.

The food was freshly cooked, the portions were large, and around £22 felt like an absolute bargain. At 2.30pm all the food was still available, so I didn’t get the usual “we’ve run out of this or that” you hear in a lot of pubs. Nothing was too much trouble. Chef BILL is superb, he’s got a mega career ahead of him. It’s an amazing, friendly, very dog-friendly pub with a chilled atmosphere and lovely, polite staff. My local family booked the WoodFalls Inn for Sunday lunch when I came down from London for the weekend. Just a great place to eat. Don’t insult this amazing establishment by asking for tap water, vegan food or ingredient changes.

The roast dinner was incredible, perfectly seasoned, with all the accompaniments you could hope for. We went for Sunday lunch and can’t wait to come back. One of the best roasts in the area, and we’d happily recommend it to anyone.
