The dessert is a must, and the rest of the meal was just as good, with really high-quality food across the menu. We came for dinner on a cold winter evening and were welcomed by friendly staff and a roaring fire. We both really enjoyed it.

The roast by the fire was so satisfying, and the food was amazing. We stayed overnight and had Sunday dinner the next day. From the moment we arrived, everyone was welcoming, polite, and helpful. Our room was very comfortable and well equipped. Billy, Lisa, David, and the rest of the team have made the kings arms a cosy village pub and eatery that’s becoming a real draw for visitors to reeth. It was also one of the most dog-friendly places we’ve ever visited. We’d recommend it wholeheartedly.

We had a lovely stay, thanks for making it so enjoyable. The village is a great base, with plenty of beautiful local spots nearby, and prices are very reasonable. Service was impeccable, and the food was fantastic, made with ingredients from local suppliers. We’ll definitely visit again.

After walking the Herriot Way, we ended the day in Reeth with dinner at The King’s Arms. Kev was the chef today, and the food was fabulous. The service was just as good, and the friendly staff took great care of us and our dog. We’d really recommend stopping by. Thank you.

Mark, who was working front of house and behind the bar, was so sweet and looked after us really well. We loved the outstanding food and the beautiful fireplace, and it’s a place that feels welcoming to dogs and people alike. The Timothy Taylor Landlord served here is sublime. We’ll bring our visitors along to enjoy this cheerful hotel and restaurant.
