The Co-op delivery lorry was noisy at 6am, but I’m not taking off any stars for it. It had come up in reviews often enough that we knew about it beforehand. The apartment opposite Rothesay harbour looks newly renovated and the work is to a high standard. It was immaculate and had everything we might need. Thanks, Lesley, for the messages and useful information. We’d definitely stay again.

The location is awesome, right above the town and across the road from the ferry terminal. A wonderful apartment.

The main downside for us was the live music at the pub in the market place below. It went on until 11pm on Saturday and was very noisy, quite late for that sort of thing. The apartment also has stairs both outside and inside. Still, it’s modern, airy, comfortable and well thought out, with a cosy bedroom and sitting area, plus a fridge, cooker and washing machine. The car park is adequate. It overlooks the marina, right in the centre of Rothesay, with shops below and the castle behind. A bath would have been nice for a holiday soak, and casting on the TV would help since the Freeview choices are limited.

We’ve liked it enough to come back five times. The owners communicated well before we arrived, and the apartment is fairly priced, modern, clean and secure, with what a family needs for either a short or long stay. The views are fantastic and the ferry terminal is right on the doorstep.

Everything was neat and tidy when we arrived, and the shower was the best ever. The staff were amazing and super friendly. You’re seconds from a shop, a couple of minutes from the amusements and pubs, and the castle is just around the corner. The views are great too. These are the most amazing apartments I’ve ever seen. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend booking a room.
