Chris is a top bloke. He gave us a warm welcome, was very funny, and we had a great chat. The rooms are dated compared with modern places, but I actually like that, it gives them a warm feel. The bed was comfy and the room had everything we needed. Local pubs and the town centre are close by. Well worth booking. Thanks, Chris. Daz

Chris gave me a lovely welcome and explained everything I needed to know about the room. It was cosy, with a very comfortable bed, and I loved waking up in a nice warm room. There was plenty of tea and coffee too. Tanamara is close to Retford town centre. Hope to come back.

We always have a wonderful stay at Tanamara. The place is well kept, the rooms spotless, and Chris provides top class service and accommodation every time. Everything from booking to departure was brilliant. Highly recommended, and we'll book again.

The host was great and the price was good. Just know the rooms share an outside bathroom and toiletries aren't included. The decor is so outdated it's almost funny, and there were a couple of cobwebs and bugs. Still, otherwise a great stay.
