The Lawns Guest House

Our baby’s cot was provided without any hassle, which we really appreciated. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed at The Lawns for two nights and had a lovely time. Tea and refreshments were available, and the shed parking was a real bonus. We’d happily return.

A very comfortable bed made for a good night’s sleep, and the rooms are spacious and clean. Guests also have a well-stocked communal kitchen to use. Highly recommend it.

The staff were really friendly, and there’s a sheltered parking area, which was a nice extra. Our bright, clean and comfortable family room was ideal for two nights. We liked having a separate kitchen since we prefer to make our own meals, and smokers have access to a private seating area. I’d highly recommend The Lawns for a relaxing stopover.

We’ve stayed at The Lawns before and will keep using it for the good value and convenience. This time we had a first-floor family room, with simple but elegant furnishings, and everything was clean and well organised. There are two kitchens, so you can make anything from a simple meal to something more involved. We brought ingredients for chicken curry, and our local son and grandson joined us. Good service and location, too.
